Block Schedule
3-year program (36 months) with 80% of your time spent in the ER environment, and 80% of your time spent in-house at Mullica Hill
Didactic Schedule
5-hour block of protected time every week dedicated to advancing the resident’s EM knowledge
Scholarly Activity
MHEM uses our own developed 7-point system that mirrors the ACGME defined scholarly activity options to allow for unique approaches to scholarly work
Procedures
Residents perform the following minimum required procedures for EM, with graduating autonomy based on performance.
Quality Improvement Projects
Every resident will find an area of quality improvement for our program, patient safety, or more effective patient care that will be implemented by the department
National Conference Presentations
Every resident will have the opportunity to have a paid conference trip to a national EM conference to present a poster or case that gets accepted
